These are our goals for 2019 Q1.

Any points that have been strikethrough means that they are complete.

CEO

  • Objective 1: Ensure key leadership roles are filled

    • Key Result 1: Recruit Chief Technology Officer

    • Key Result 2: Recruit Head of QA

    • Key Result 3: Recruit Head of Mobile

    • Key Result 4: Recruit Head of Web

  • Objective 2: Improve financial standing.

    • Key Result 1: Add $40,000 to long-term investments.

    • Key Result 2: Grow Cash-In-Bank by the equivalent 2 months of expenses.

    • Key Result 3: $275,000+ in revenue for the quarter.

    • Key Result 4: Simplify all contracts to monthly payments, not milestone based.

  • Objective 3: Improve overall project process.

    • Key Result 1: Create weekly full project reviews across all projects

    • Key Result 2: Implement project retrospectives including: What worked, what didn't work, key insights, P/Ls.

    • Key Result 3: All communication with all clients is strictly face to face, conference calls, or via project management tools. No emails, no chat groups.

  • Objective 4: Scale Sales Process

    • Key Result 1: Minimum of two team members who can independently write winning proposals.

Operations Team.

  • Objective 1: Complete Regional Legal Setup

    • Key Result 1: Register Legal Entity in Vietnam

    • Key Result 2: Switch legal entity in Thailand

    • Key Result 3: Complete Brand and Tagline Registration

  • Objective 2: Improve Financial Processes

    • Key Result 1: Switch FCF projections from weekly to monthly

    • Key Result 2: Collections are 90% of accrual

    • Key Result 3: Months are consistently closed by the 5th of the following month.

    • Key Result 4: Up to date accounts available online

    • Key Result 5: Accurate P/L for 2017

    • Key Result 6: Accurate P/L for 2018

  • Objective 3: Improve Project Operations

    • Key Result 1: Implement random wiping of Macbooks/iMacs to enforce storage to Cloud (minimum 4 computers factory reset.)

    • Key Result 2: Move all Project from Asana to Bloo.io

    • Key Result 3: Standardize Project File Structure Across all Projects and add to SOP.

    • Key Result 4: Create a "Product Owner" team.

Design Team.

  • Objective 1: Give greater responsibility to individual team members.

    • Key Result 1: Everyone in team from mid-level up can independently run a design sprint.

    • Key Result 2: Senior level team members can run full project end-to-end independently of Head of Design.

    • Key result 3: Mid-level Brand and graphic designer can start to take up digital product in term of User Interface design

    • Key Result 4: Senior can take up morning daily stand up without Head of Design present.

    • Key Result 5: Senior members understand what Design Thinking is in full and be able to run a Discovery Phase at full scale.

  • Objective 2: Build a showcase of deliverables.

    • Key Result 1: All key deliverables across branding and web projects to have a Mäd version as an example version.

    • Key Result 3: Structure working file and final asset and deliverable in TEAM DRIVE

    • Note: Also assigned to Brand Team, this is joint responsibility.

  • Objective 3: Design assist Business Team more closely.

    • Key Result 1: Mid-level up to Senior can assist business team into working on high quality pitch mock up design and generate ideas

    • Key Result 2: Be able to sells Design Sprint and Design Thinking

    • Key Result 3: Be able to participate in new business pitch

Technology Team.

  • Objective 1: Full Agile Sprint Implemented across all projects.

    • Key Result 1: Product Owner \ PO Team are prioritizing backlog items

    • Key Result 2: Sprint Reviews occur to inspect and adapt the product backlog if needed

    • Key Result 3: Retrospectives at the end of the project to inspect the quality of the sprints in regards to people, relationships, process and tools

    • Key Result 4: Release sign-off and check lists are implemented for production releases

  • Objective 2: Write down key processes in SOP

    • Key Result 1: Security SOP is completed

    • Key Result 2: Version Control SOP is completed

    • Key Result 3: App Store Setup (Fully Finished)

    • Key Result 4: Core Project Setup (API)

  • Objective 3: Establish effective and reoccurring 1:1’s with the Dev team

    • Key Result 1: Monthly informal 1:1’s scheduled and prioritized

    • Key Result 2: Structure of 1:1’s created and adhered to

    • Key Result 3: Feedback notated each meeting for use in Q2 focus on growing quality

  • Objective 4: Make significant progress towards all mobile team to full stack (iOS and Android). Note that Q2 goal will be entire mobile team full-stack, so significant progress in Q1 for this is expected. Any non-full stack team members may be dropped or given a brief extension to reach full stack.

    • Key Result 1: Minimum of 5 workshops on full stack development

Business Team.

  • Key Objective 1: Grow Revenue

    • Key Result 1: 5 new clients

    • Key Result 2: $30,000/month MRR

    • Key Result 3: Sign $100,000 of new contracted work.

  • Key Objective 2: Improve Organization

    • Key Result 1: Full Terms & Conditions are online, and clients only need to sign a simple engagement agreement (SOW and payment schedule)

    • Key Result 2: Updated Master Templates to include all available SoWs and variations, and have all new case studies available in short form and credentials deck.

  • Key Objective 3: Develop & Launch Business Services

    • Key Result 1: All key deliverables done for Mäd itself.

    • Key Result 2: Business Services provided to 5 customers.

    • Key Result 3: Revenue $5,000 in Business Services.

Brand Team.

  • Key Objective 1: Improve Web Presence

    • Key Result 1: SEO Optimize All Posts & Pages

    • Key Result 2: Running Adwords Campaigns for 5-to10 Keywords

    • Key Result 3: Publish 12 Thought pieces to Why #workwithmad

    • Key Result 4: Heineken Case Study (Main site) and Wall of Love Published

  • Key Objective 2: Launch campaigns in outside SEA.

    • Key Result 1: 10 Inquiries per market from SMEs

    • Key Results 2: 300 emails captured

  • Key Objective 3: Launch Newsletter
